HOPE VALLEY PEAK DISTRICT

Caving: Titan, Britain's biggest natural shaft (475ft deep) is only a mile from the centre of Castleton. It was discovered in 1999 after many years of exploration in the Peak-Speedwell cave system. The area, with hundreds of caves, is one of the most popular in the UK.
