This project it totally reliant on the support and equipment provided by its sponsors. Several companies have already committed themselves:

Avbrief:
Providing metrological information for the planned flight. The subscribers section of their website will be invaluable in allowing us to plan our take off day.

Medical Gas Services:
Providing ultra-lightweight composite construction oxygen cylinders for life support.

Bailey Aviation:
Harness construction - a harness will be used instead of a conventional basket.

www.trans-cal.com:
Providing an Altitude Encoder, to give air traffic control and other aircraft the balloon's realtime altitude.

Larsen & Brusgaard:
Are loaning two minature audible altimeters that fit inside Rob's helmet. These will serve two purposes. In the event of a bail out the audible altimeters will bleep at preset altitudes as an alert to open his parachute for a safe landing. One will also be set to bleep at 10000ft as a reminder to reheat the balloon back up to temperature during the descent.

Aerodyne:
Parachute and Paraglider manufacturer Aerodyne have agreed to supply the essential bail out parachute. This is a state of the art skydiving parachute rig, including the ICON container, PILOT main parachute and SMART reserve, that has been made to measure over the bulky warm clothing worn for the flight.

Expedition Engineering:
Inventing and designing a unique lightweight framing system to keep Rob, the burner, fuel tanks, the balloon and everything else in the right place relatively to one another.
